What a fantastic day!
Photos and details will hopefully follow later – no problem but it takes a bit of doing and we need to get our party gear on! We´ll slope off during the dancing and get them sorted!!
Yesterday we asked the children what their ´highlights so far´were- we didn´t get chance to post them as we had that problem so here they are!
Paul and Patrick have really enjoyed all the football… (They were also extremely impressed with the birds of prey show today)
Andrew loved getting a shark´s tooth (?!)
Emily is enjoying the shopping… and saw a flying fairy..?!
Beth has loved the fountains and palaces.
Daniel and Molly both enjoyed the fabulous view of the little people from the cable car they went on with their families.. that sounds high!
Abbie went on a great swing that spun her round and round – she got dizzy telling me!
Jenny liked meeting a funny little girl called Melinda.. she was very funny apparantly!
Nicole enjoyed having dinner with the teachers and some karaoke… Unfortunately she liked Maria´s singing the best so Mr Hewer is a little sad.
Amy´s best bit is a surprise for her family, but her 2nd favourite was the porcelain room in the palace.
Callum has enjoyed seeing the host family again, and loved the armour room.
Nathan and Alex Derby also thought the armour room at the palace was just amazing.
Jasmine has enjoyed everything, but is especially looking forward to the Grease party tonight!
Alex Davies enjoyed filming Mr Hewer on the karoake… Whoops did Mr Hewer know that??
Red loved his free day with the family and has made lots of new memories, particularly from what he saw from the cable car.
Kate enjoyed the bus tour of Madrid as she saw lots of new things.
Sophie enjoyed the go karting with her family – and thought it was hilarious that she went the wrong way and was told off in Spanish, but she couldn´t answer so the man had to move her!
Darcey also enjoyed the go karting… particularly when she crashed!!
Jason won the go karts so that was his best bit!
Mrs Davies has enjoyed the food and the company (and is proud of her tan!), Mrs Shotton is enjoying the sun and the fresh orange juice, Mrs. Brooks enjoyed Retiro park and her Sunday lie-in, and Mr Hewer has so many best bits he just can´t pick one!!
I think that´s everyone!
More to follow later, and no, we didn´t leave anyone at the zoo… Though we weren´t completely surprised to discover that chimpanzees are 99% the same genetically as humans…!
